We visited Berlin, Ohio on vacation in September. This little town made a lasting impression. The simple and serene lifestyle of the Amish ceased to amaze me. Hopefully we can return there again this fall. There is so much to see and do. The shopping was great. Never have I seen the variety of primitives in one place.

I hope to make it to Ohio some day. I have read so much about all the great shopping spots on other blogs. I get to travel to an Amish community once a year a ways from here. It is always fun. Blessings!

ReplyDeleteI adore the Amish! I have a corner of my living room that is devoted to the Amish. I have so much respect for them. There is a small community of them about 20 miles from my home and I visit it as often as I can.
I just found your blog tonight. Sure have enjoyed your post. I'm also from Ohio and I love going to Berlin and the surrounding areas. There is a really great Thrift Store in Millersburg if you come back.

You were only about 1-1/2 hours from me in Berlin! I went for the first time this summer with my parents and my teenage son. I can't wait to get back with the hubs. The best fabric store is there, Country Craft Cupboard.
