When we last visited I told you I would share with you a purchase that the mister bought for me. I was thrilled to get this piece of furniture. I have wanted a settle like this for a long time. I wanted to wait and share it when I had everything fixed up but this one piece is causing havoc for the mister. You see now I want a new coffee table, end tables, lamps, the list goes on and on. Bet he is rethinking this purchase. (smile). He says this fall after our big craft show, I will get my tables. Guess I will have to be a good girl and wait. Are you ready?
I know, just had to fool you a little. Here it is.
Brought down this little black bench from upstairs until I can get my table. Now I need a floor cloth,,, yes gota add that to my list. Do you like it? Now when you come to visit, you are welcome to sit there and we can talk about our love of prims all day long.
Because I had a big chair where the settle is, I had to find a new home for the chair. If any of you have wicker furniture you know it is pretty, but for comfort, well lets just say it could be improved quite a bit. If you look close you will see my big chair has a new home now in the sunroom
Sorry this picture is kind of dark. It was dark and raining really hard this morning.
This has become my new reading nook. Was so nice looking out this morning and watching the rain fall. Problem,,,,, I stayed too long and didn't get all done in the craft room I wanted to. But there is always tomorrow....
I have really enjoyed you stopping by to visit tonight. Be sure to leave a comment or I will never know you were here. Enjoy your evening and tell someone you love them.
Until next time........
What an awesome piece!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Love the sunroom too! Everything looks so pretty. Gotta have another girls day soon and go out exploring for new treasures!
ReplyDeleteI Love that little quilted flag!!!
ReplyDeleteOk so if I hop on to I75 South and it takes me an hour to get to Toledo Ohio..and another 4 hours to get into Kentucky...hmmm I should be at your home in Georgia by tomorrow sometime to sit in that wonderful settle chair..Oh and while I am there, i would love to smell the wonderful flowers Mr P grows..and I too love that flag next to those hydrangeas. Take care, Janice
ReplyDeleteLove the settle. I think the black stool looks wonderful in front of it. When we were in Il last week all of Beths neighbors have those wonderful blue hydrangeas. I begged someone to go "picking" with me after dark, but had no takers.lol Love them. I could sit on your settle, prop my feet up, have a glass of your pineapple punch and talk prims until the cows came home.
ReplyDeleteOh Wow! Love that Settle!!! STUNNING!

Good morning Angela...your post made me smile/giggle as this is how it happens in our house too...ONE THING LEADS TO ANOTHER....but that is how it is supposed to be isn't it?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Settle! Love the fabric choice.
Karen
Hi Angela,
ReplyDeleteI'm coming for a visit. Your home is soooo cozy!!! Love the sunroom. Your hydrangeas are gorgeous. Don't know if I'll get any this year. With that warm March we had, it started budding. Then we got that frost in April and killed them. So, cut off all the woody parts and the leaves have started at the bottom.
Take care,
Lois

ReplyDeletePositively GORGEOUS Miss Angela!! What a sweet Mr you have! And those hydrangeas are swoon-worthy! Next to lilacs, they are one of my all time favorites - but they don't grow for squat here. (Do you lend your amazing Mr. out???) ;o) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteOh, you're flowers look so pretty in your home. They really add a lot to the homey feel. Love your new settle. I've been thinking of making a floor cloth out of a drop cloth and painting a prim frame around it.
