A little stool in the sunroom. The old jewel tea pitcher was my Grandmothers. As a child I remember her making tea in it. Such special memories.
A cloche in the kitchen. Have had the little rabbit forever.
I don't often make things that I keep myself, however decided to keep the rabbit and cabbage I made last year.
This is an old cardboard toy the Easter bunny gave Holly when she visited him at the mall 25 years ago. It has always been special to me and I have to display it every year.
Display on table in the hallway. Love the baby shoe with the bird nest in it.
This is a small tree I spray painted brown. Can't tell in the photo. It stays in the kitchen all year and I decorate it with seasonal items.
Okay we have experienced Winter cold, Spring and Easter pic. What next? Well I decided to get busy and work on something I had been wanting to try for myself. Yep, something for me to keep. I am always late doing things for me, if I ever do. But have been wanting to make this for a long time.
Blogland has been showing such neat pictures of items using chalkboard paint. This is hanging at my back door and will probably stay full of "Don't Forget" notes to myself. Thought it turned out really good.
And the coffee filter wreath was so much fun to make. This will probably end up in the guest room upstairs. Will go great with the decor up there. It was really super easy to make.
Holly called and her and Darbee was going to come out , so I took a break and decided to fix lunch. Wow, what memories that lunch held. To read about our lunch visit Holly's blog, Popsicles and Pigtails Click.here
Had a good visit with them , and then back to work.
Yes, now the season could be Christmas.
Sorry there is no Christmas tree up, so this is the only place I could find to display these neat candles.. Don't they look real? The pattern is from My Primitive Saltbox. I had so much fun making them. Feels great to have so much done already. Our only show will be Labor Day weekend. It is a big 3 day show and I usually have to work constantly from July up until the show. Made a promise to myself I would make a few things each month and so far so good. These candles are priced tonight and put away. And I am pooped! But had a super fun day.
Hope whatever season the weather may seem in your area, you have had the warmth of family and friends in your life today, and sunshine in your heart. Thanks for visiting.
