I so hope each one of you have at least one person in your life that is as special to you and these girls are to me. If not put that on the top of your list for 2012. A true friend is priceless. Sorry I didn't get pictures. We got busy talking and eating and I forgot the camera.
But I do have a few pictures of the bedroom to share with you. Hope you enjoy them.
Bed all decked out for the holidays.
Hope you enjoyed the tour of my bedroom decorated with some of my favorite snowmen (and ladies). I will move them into the living room after Christmas and they will stay for the winter in hope of SNOW!!
I am leaving you with a photo of Wilbur. Yep, when Darbee Rae came in the back door today she started hunting for him. Well, he is not suppose to go upstairs so it was hard for her to find him. Luckily her cousin who is older was here also and helped in the search. This is where they found him.
He never made it upstairs, but that silly elf collected some of my Christmas Cards and was enjoying them on the stairs. This Nana is getting tired of clearing up all his messes. Sure glad he will be on his way back to the North Pole in a few days! He left Darbee Rae some lip gloss and she was a happy little girl. She was blessed with many neat surprises from friends today.
And the ending to a blessed day was visiting with all of you my far away friends. Hoping you all a wonderful evening wherever you may be. Until next time.
Sure sounds like a feast, glad you had a great time! I love your quilt on your bed!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Sounds like a fun get-together with your friends & your bedroom is beautiful! Love all those snow guys & gals : ) I'm enjoying Wilbur's shenanigans : ) Blessings, Shirlee

Hi Angela, I spotted the ELF! Girlfriends are just the best!! I have a few like yours, and we had a feast last Friday night. Sharing good food and getting together with friends is truly a blessing. So glad to hear that you had a great time with yours. Also loved all of your smowfolk. Great idea to move them from the bedroom into the living room after Christmas. Take care, and if I don't get to blogging anymore this week, I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and hears hoping Santa is good to you too! Janice

You have a wonderful collection of snowfolk Angela! And your bedroom is so wonderfully cozy! Glad you got some gal pal time in....your menu sounds wonderful - and definitely "southern" I'd say....black-eyed peas and collards aren't on our potluck lists! (In fact, I'm not sure I've ever had them....) ;o) Hope Wilbur behaves himself these next couple of special days....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

well looks like your ready for Christmas even with the warm weather! Tornado warnings are a little scary for December. We usually get them in June. I am just hoping for a day closer to spring each day as our winters are usually horrible. After today the days start to get longer. Happy Holidays!!

ReplyDeleteOh, I had to laugh at your gathering. For some reason, when I get together with my girlfriends there is always food involved and LOTS of it! But so fun, isn't it? Friends that we enjoy spending time with, laughing and having a good time with, is a true gift from God.
ReplyDeleteYour bedroom is beautiful and I LOVE that quilt!! Such cute, cute snowmen! I love them and collect them more than Santa so they come out with my Christmas and stay out till almost spring, hehe.
