About Me

My photo
I have been married to my childhood sweetheart for 42 wonderful years. I have been blessed with one daughter who is grown and gone! She and her hubby have blessed us with a precious grandchild, Darbee Rae. She is eight years old and the sunshine in our days. I have always been a stay at home maid, cook, doctor, babysitter, taxi, wife, mother, and grandmother. I enjoy crafting. My interests include primitives, vintage and colonial styles. I love decorating my home. I enjoy traveling with my hubby and friends, reading, and trying different recipes. I am a Christian and enjoy activities within my church. I hope you enjoy reading about my daily adventures in crafting, shopping, and enjoying life thru the eyes of my darling grand daughter.

Life is Good Today

Woke up this morning to a Sunny and cold day.  Dressed in my flannel pjs. and headed to the kitchen  for a much needed cup of coffee. I love coffee mugs and have a large collection.  This is one of my favorites.
Made my way into the living room , added another log to the fire, and got cozy in my favorite spot where I sit and read.  Yes, waiting on the next round of wintery weather to come thru later in the evening, today I have a date.
Yes, got my Spring issue of Primitive Place in the mail yesterday, and can't wait to read it from cover to cover.  Housework can wait, laundry won't get done, and hubby will be lucky if he gets supper.  Yes, life is good today.  Hope you are having a great day, too.

  1. I got my issue last week, love it. Have a great reading day, stay warm.

  2. Sounds like my kind of day. I still have not had time really to sit down and read it. They are predicting snow here tonight. Snow days make good reading and crafting days. Vicky

  3. Gotta love those pajama days especially with that magazine..

  4. Sounds great! Supposed to get the new issue in the shop this week. How is it! Love jammies and coffee!

  5. I've GOT to subscribe soon! Thanks for visiting my blog. Just to let you know, I can ship anything you see (except furniture). Hope your day was as fun as it sounds! Dawn

  6. I am hoping that I can have that kind of day on Saturday!!! Enjoy.

  7. Angela, the butter is great. As it was making I thought it tasted too salty but once the buttermilk separated from the butter it tastes great!!! It is so easy! And I can't wait to try your cinnamon bread. I bought my bread flour today!!! I hope to make it on Saturday. Do you care if I share the recipe and link to your blog when I make it?

  8. Sounds like a wonderful day to me...order take-out!
