About Me

My photo
I have been married to my childhood sweetheart for 42 wonderful years. I have been blessed with one daughter who is grown and gone! She and her hubby have blessed us with a precious grandchild, Darbee Rae. She is eight years old and the sunshine in our days. I have always been a stay at home maid, cook, doctor, babysitter, taxi, wife, mother, and grandmother. I enjoy crafting. My interests include primitives, vintage and colonial styles. I love decorating my home. I enjoy traveling with my hubby and friends, reading, and trying different recipes. I am a Christian and enjoy activities within my church. I hope you enjoy reading about my daily adventures in crafting, shopping, and enjoying life thru the eyes of my darling grand daughter.

Craft Show Pictures and an Update

Good evening everyone.  Hope all of you have had a great Saturday. Today was suppose to be the beginning of our craft show that we  have been working toward for many months.  We began our set up on Thursday afternoon and before the show started today had already sold a world of goodies to customers who rode by trying to catch us up there.  We have been truly blessed to have such loyal customers.

Today was no different.  Just after opening the booth we started seeing familiar faces and their comments made us feel so good.  Things like I just come for your booth, I came early because I know you sell out and telling new customers in the booth, if you see something you want you better buy it or it will be gone.  Thank you to all our customers who shop with us year after year.  You are the reason we come back and your business is so appreciated.  And to you new customers , thank you for visiting our booth and hope you too will  return next year with a postivie experience.

Okay, that being said, I will share the pictures I got with my camera.  There are many  so hope you enjoy.

Two of Mr. P's hall trees made from  old doors. Both of these have new homes tonight. So has the table sitting next to them.

All of the pumpkins and fall items were selling great altho the temp. at one time today reached 100.

The Christmas table is always a big hit.  I do really well with ornaments.  The tree is down and this table is almost empty.  It seems like the more I make to try to have for the 3 days the more we sell on Saturday.  BUT  I am not complaining.

First time I have made grungy jars with labels.  They were a really good seller for me today.

All of Mr. P's birdhouses are gone and awaiting their new feathered friends.

Birdhouses on old rakes, hoes, shovels, etc. was a big hit.  This barrel is now empty.

.

These are a few of the many rockers Mr. P. plants with flowers early in the spring and nutures until our show.  All of the rockers are sitting in yards and on porches of our customers tonight waiting for a cool drink of water after a hot day at the show.

So I won't bore you any longer.  We are both hot, tired, and happy for the success of today.  Tomorrow the temps. are to be somewhat lower as a tropical storm approaches our neighboring state.  That means a 50% chance of rain, and on Monday  the weatherman is saying 100% rain.  Hope the fair owners will tell us tomorrow we can take down.   Will let your know how the weekend ends.

Take care everyone, stay safe and enjoy Labor Day whatever your plans may be.
Until next time.
