I have been married to my childhood sweetheart for 42 wonderful years. I have been blessed with one daughter who is grown and gone! She and her hubby have blessed us with a precious grandchild, Darbee Rae. She is eight years old and the sunshine in our days. I have always been a stay at home maid, cook, doctor, babysitter, taxi, wife, mother, and grandmother. I enjoy crafting. My interests include primitives, vintage and colonial styles. I love decorating my home. I enjoy traveling with my hubby and friends, reading, and trying different recipes. I am a Christian and enjoy activities within my church. I hope you enjoy reading about my daily adventures in crafting, shopping, and enjoying life thru the eyes of my darling grand daughter.

Enjoying a Remodel

Happy Saturday friends. Just wanted to drop by and say hello. This has been a fun,do nothing sort of week for me at the home place. In fact I haven't been home much.

Holly and Stacy are having some remodeling done at their house. And you know I so love changing and playing house. So my days have been spent with her and Darbee Rae watching the progress. Those who remodel know what a mess it is until things are done. Whew, glad it is her house instead of mine. Just look at the mess.

I know she will want to share with you the finished project so today I will give you a sneek peek. I love it and can't wait to see it done.

Today Mr. P. Has begun a project for Darbee Rae. Can you guess what it is going to be?  She informed us when planning this it was not to be "prinitive".  She says it is to be lime green and pink. Will have to see about that!

Those of you expecting more snow be careful.  Please take a mpment to remember our blogging friends who are sick, have had surgery, or just having a rough time right now.  Throigh it all, we are blessed. Hope you all have a great weekend.

Unti next time.

  3. Love those drawer pulls!! Reminds me of mine...except a different color. I know all too well about remodeling...it can really mess your house up. However, I wouldn't trade anything that we went through with putting in our new kitchen.

Oh Darbee Rae is so cute. Sounds like something Luke would say. They hear the word "primitive" enough, huh? Love her choice of colors....so girly! How fun!

  12. Our drawer pulls almost looks the same, but yours is prettier and looks sturdier. I love your color choice, it's very fun! Is the remodeling finished already? If yes, please upload some photos. I would love to take a look of how your remodel turned out.

  13. Lime green and pink. That’s an interesting combination... So how's the project faring so far? :)

Really like those drawer handles. I wish I could find some of those for a project I've been thinking about.

  14. "Being messy is really one thing that everyone must endure while renovating their home. I know how hard it is to deal with, but I realized that I made my house very attractive after everything was said and done. We have renovated the house many times already and dealt with a lot of mess, but we’re really satisfied in living here even though it has been 10 years already. "
