About Me

My photo
I have been married to my childhood sweetheart for 42 wonderful years. I have been blessed with one daughter who is grown and gone! She and her hubby have blessed us with a precious grandchild, Darbee Rae. She is eight years old and the sunshine in our days. I have always been a stay at home maid, cook, doctor, babysitter, taxi, wife, mother, and grandmother. I enjoy crafting. My interests include primitives, vintage and colonial styles. I love decorating my home. I enjoy traveling with my hubby and friends, reading, and trying different recipes. I am a Christian and enjoy activities within my church. I hope you enjoy reading about my daily adventures in crafting, shopping, and enjoying life thru the eyes of my darling grand daughter.

Soggy Saturday

Good Morning everyone. Today outside my window skies are heavy with rain, and inside the homplace there is a chill in the air. Just debating whether we need a small fire or to just get up and get busy to warm myself. A fire sounds like more fun, huh.
This has been one of those weeks that found me on the go more than being home, so I have no finished projects to share with you. Guess that is a good thing since my camera batteries went dead and I have no replacements here at home.  Guess a trip to town is needed.
Have enjoyed stopping by your blogs and seeing all the cute items you have been creating. You are a bunch of smart creative ladies.  I enjoy visiting with you all.
Hope you all have a great weekend and I will try to be back next week with pictures.

  1. Hi Angela, Well its a soggy day here today in the south, we are expecting 2-3 inches of rain before it is over with sunday. I have had my fire going this morning, there is such a dampness in the house. Its going to be a perfect day for crafting, can't wait to see your pictures. Vicky

  2. Sounds like a cozy day at your house. We should be out roaming! Love ya!

  3. Hi Angela,

Thanks for stopping by my blog. We're in the middle of a major snow storm right now so rain sounds good to me! I hope to have more time to check out your blog later this evening. Nice to meet you :)

  4. Pouring rain here too. I LOVE it. I LOVED seeing the candles you made. I don't know how I missed that post. That is somethng I want to do so bad. Of course, I am a wannabee at everything. lol
